COVID-19 Policy

In response to ongoing COVID-19 infections in Western Pennsylvania and to safeguard the health of our audiences, musicians, staff, and volunteers, PCC has put together a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding our upcoming season.

We will continue to monitor the regions’ public health situation and update our FAQs in response to any changes in directives from local, state, and federal policymakers.  For more information, feel free to contact Douglas Florey, PCC’s Executive Director, at 412.635.7654 or at office@pccsing.org.

What is PCC’S mask Policy?

Based on current public health guidelines, and in alignment with the acting Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, masks are required at all times for all patrons, staff, and volunteers regardless of vaccination status in all indoor spaces at our two performance venues, Ingomar United Methodist Church and Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. Per the churches’ policies, face coverings are required for all individuals 2 years of age and older unless the individual has a medical or mental health condition or disability that precludes the wearing of a face covering.

What if I forget my mask?

No problem! Masks and hand sanitizer will be available in the lobby for patrons to use.

Will there be a separate section for Vaccinated/Unvaccinated patrons?

No.  All patrons, staff, and volunteers must present proof of vaccination status to enter our performance venues.

Will there be social distancing?

Yes. Ushers will assist patrons to find socially-distanced seating. Guests are encouraged to maintain a proper social distance before and after the concerts, as well as during intermission.

Are performers also following the Covid-19 guidelines?

Yes. All choir members as well as all staff and volunteers of the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale are vaccinated and required to wear masks.

What are Covid-19 guidelines for children?

all audience members 12 and older must show proof of vaccination.

Children 11 and under do NOT need to show proof of vaccination.

All audience members aged two and up must be masked while inside our venues.
