…and
now we announce our 24th Concert Season 2008 - 2009 |
|
Ninety auditioned voices
in the Pittsburgh
Concert Chorale,
under the leadership of our highly-acclaimed
director, Katherine Mueller,
will provide a diverse repertoire of choral music during this season’s
subscription series. Grab your passport as the season begins with "Carols
Around the World" in December and continues with
"The
French Masters" in March, featuring the famous
music of Fauré
and Poulenc. Reminisce in May as the chorale sings tunes from the "Fabulous
Fifties/Swingin' Sixties!" Our performances will
be held in
Ingomar in the North Hills as well as in Fox Chapel. See Concerts
for more information and order your season
subscription now. By special
invitation, the chorus will join the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra in a
performance
of Beethoven's "Choral" Symphony No. 9 in D minor on May 16th in
the South Hills. It's sure to be a rich and full year of choral music.
Don't
miss it! |
