Ninety auditioned voices in the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, under the leadership of its highly-acclaimed director, Katherine Mueller, will provide a diverse repertoire of choral music during this season’s subscription series. Known as the finest all-volunteer choral group in western Pennsylvania, the organization continues to thrill audiences of all ages with music that is challenging and entertaining! Carrying out this season's theme, "Music Fit for a King", the December concerts are aptly titled "Gloria", celebrating the King of kings along with many holiday favorites. The classical work in March will feature Arthur Honegger's dramatic psalm work, "King David", with orchestra and piano accompaniment, narrator and guest soloists. Always a favorite, the pops concert in May entitled "Jazz It Up" will celebrate the kings of jazz music! See Concerts for more information and order your season subscription now. It's sure to be a rich and full year of choral music. Don't miss it!
Experienced singers, ages 16 and older, can schedule an audition by calling the director, Katherine Mueller, at 412-841-9614.
